Whether you're looking for the basics (everyone's got to learn somewhere) or want to improve on previous year's experience this is the perfect location.
Ski School is a great opportunity to get to know the area and don't forget skiing is enjoyed best when done within a group of similar levels. Of course private lessons are available for anyone wanting to get the benefit of one-to-one instruction.
Ski lessons can be taken in either private (one to one) or group classes.
Private lesson can be booked by the hour, half day, full day, etc.
Group lessons are normally for 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day.
Beginners: are well catered for with not only very patient and highly experienced instructors but also some extremely gentle slopes where you'll soon find your "ski-legs". Unlike in many resorts, where 1st time skiers are restricted to the nursery slope area all week, here new skiers are normally able to move right up to the top of the mountains by mid week as there are some very easy green runs (the most gentle) all the way back to the ski school area.
: will find their lessons covering high mileage and discover just way this is the ideal area to practice those new found skills. Mile upon mile of wide open blue and red runs mean that your instructor will be able to base the class in the ideal area for your standard. Let's face it, most British skiers are intermediates. Your instructor's aim is simply to continue the learning curve to raise your game above the intermediate plateau in a fun, always moving, instructive class.
Advanced: skiers, now is the time to start "flowing". OK Flow is simply the new buzz word, but we all know what it means: are you in your comfort zone skiing where you are - bumps, off piste, deep snow, steeps, etc. Your instructor really is an expert at skiing the whole mountain and they relish every opportunity to pass on this knowledge. Their aim is to help you improve your technique and so expand your comfort zone until you feel at home anywhere and everywhere. What more can we say, you'll be flowing by the end of the week.
